September Is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month

The V Foundation for Cancer Research is saving more children’s lives by funding innovative pediatric cancer research.

Last year in the United States, more than 15,000 new cases of cancer were diagnosed among children, with nearly 2,000 dying from the disease. In fact, cancer is the leading non-accident cause of death in childern.

However, outcomes continue to improve as we fund new research that leads to new ideas. Only 4% of federal cancer research funding is directed to pediatric cancer, so it is imperative we continue to work together to help more kids achieve Victory Over Cancer®.
