Humble Bundle: Anything but modest.
The definition of humble is to have or show a modest or low estimate of one’s own importance. Although, I think Humble Bundle is anything but modest.
The company was founded in 2010 and has raised more than $33 million for charity to date, but they are a for-profit organization. Humble Bundle organizes pay-what-you-want sales and puts the power directly in the hands of the consumers, offering them awesome games, eBooks, albums and more at prices they set themselves. Not only can consumers pay what they want, but they can decide how to allocate their money. If a consumer wants to give 100% of the money to charity, they can!
From March 6th to March 13th, The V Foundation will be one of the beneficiaries of “The Humble Weekly Sale PopCap”. In each bundle there are six games and you can choose your price- the games are valued at a few hundred dollars.
