The V Foundation’s mission has always been a focused one: to save lives by finding cures for cancer.
Grants are selected by a Scientific Advisory Board through a highly competitive process. Only cancer research projects with the most potential are funded. Thus, grant recipients funded by The V Foundation have excellent reputations within the scientific community. The V Foundation awards three types of grants: The V Scholar Grant, The V Foundation Grants in Translational Cancer Research, and Designated Grants. Scientists who receive these grants often receive additional funding and produce results which enable them to move from the lab into clinical trials. The cures for cancer become less mysterious with each and every breakthrough. |
