A seasoned finance, tax and business professional, Constance “Connie” Skidmore has more than 30 years of experience serving global clients and developing business initiatives for the public and private sectors.
She has served as a member of Proterra’s board of directors since March 2019. Prior to retiring in 2009, Skidmore was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a public accounting firm, where she had worked since 1977, including as a member of its governing board. Skidmore has been a member of the board of directors of Comfort Systems USA, Inc. since December 2012 and a member of the board of directors of Sensata Technologies Holding Plc since May 2017. She previously served on the board of directors of ShoreTel, Inc. from 2014 until 2017, prior to its acquisition by Mitel Networks Corporation. Connie has served as Audit Committee Chair for each of these public companies.
Skidmore also currently serves on various other boards of directors of private companies and nonprofit organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. She has attended the Stanford Directors College several times from 2013 through 2023.
