The V Foundation is proud of the support, participation and donations generated by the numerous local events that take place nationwide throughout the year.  These events come in all shapes and sizes but all serve the purpose of joining friends, family and the community together to work for a common goal.   It is through the hard work and dedication of event planners and participants that we raise the money which fund our research grants.   

These research grants help doctors, scientists and researchers advance their knowledge and develop the new techniques and practices which will help us conquer, and ultimately cure cancer.  These events are made possible by individuals across the country; individuals who want to help and who understand that they have the power to make a difference in the lives of others.      

The V Foundation is also proud of the commitment and dedication of our local event planners, those individuals who help by providing their time, effort and hard work in organizing and coordinating these local fundraisers.  No donation is too small and 100 percent of all net event proceeds, regardless of size, funds cancer research.  Furthermore we would like to encourage anyone who is interested in coordinating a local event to take action, and join us in the fight against cancer.  To learn more about hosting an event, please visit our Host an Event section.
