Thank you for a wonderful 2011

Thank you so much for a wonderful year! With your support, we awarded $12.5 million in new research grants in 2011.  Your donations truly make a difference in the fight against cancer, and we can’t thank you enough for helping us in our mission to fulfill Jim Valvano’s dream of finding a cure for cancer. 2011 was a great year for The V Foundation, and we are looking forward to a wonderful 2012!

Jimmy V Basketball Classic

The 17th Annual Men’s and Women’s Jimmy V Basketball Classic will wrap up ESPN’s V Week tonight.  Six elite collegiate programs will showcase their skills in support of The V Foundation.  For the men’s classic, the No. 13 Missouri Tigers will face off against the Villanova Wildcats at 7:00 pm inMadison Square Garden.  At 9:00 pm, No. 16 Washington Huskies will battle against Marquette’s Golden Eagles.  For the women’s classic, the showdown between two powerhouse teams will kick off at 7:00 pm in Connecticut—the No. 2 Connecticut Huskies will play defending national champions, the No. 4 Texas A&M Aggies.  These incredible match-ups will not only [...]

The V Foundation Wins Award for Outstanding Philanthropy
