David Williams spent his entire 26 year career with Whirlpool Corporation, retiring at the end of 1998 as the Senior Vice President of Global Brand Marketing. After starting out in Research and Engineering, he moved through positions in sales and marketing, held senior sales and marketing positions with both Whirlpool and KitchenAid brands, and spent 3 years as the Vice President of Whirlpool Marketing in Europe. He received his BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois. He currently is also on the board of the Blue Planet Foundation in Hawaii. Dave and his wife Karen are avid golfers and split their time between a home in Maui and one in Michigan.
