A Quick Click Helps The V Foundation
Who knew that liking a Facebook page could help fund research grants across the country? Starting on February 20, a simple “like” on Hooters’ Facebook page will send $1 to The V Foundation. The promotion will run from February 20 to April 2, and for every new “like,” Hooters will donate $1 to The V Foundation. Hooters has been a V Foundation partner since 2002 and has raised more than $2.1 million for breast cancer research. $120 Million Raised Thanks to Supporters Like You
The V Foundation has raised more than $120 million for cancer research. Since 1994, we have awarded over 450 research grants in more than 100 prominent research institutions nationwide. Although it is important to look back and realize what we have accomplished, it is more important to recognize that we could not have done this without donations, community events and support from the community. At the beginning of the year we posted about community events that support The V Foundation. This week we wanted to spotlight a few events for February and show all of our supporters how much we appreciate their support. This Friday, in Lambertville, New Jersey, Mitchells Bar is hosting a Phase 3 Rocks Against Cancer event. It’s been a long day or even a long week and you know what would be really nice? A Corona, not just a Corona, but one with a lime in it.
